A New Reserve in a Great Tradition
The Groth Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the Reserve vineyard which produces the best Cabernet grown on the Groth Vineyard Estate. The Reserve Cabernet gets every ounce of special care a winery can devote to its flagship wine. Aging takes place in a gravity-flow, dual-level barrel room set aside only for the Reserve Cabernet.
Great Wine Comes Only From Great Vineyards
Now, 28 years in the making, and following 19 remarkable Groth Reserve vintages, the 2008 Groth Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is resting in the cellar. Replanting of the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard began in 1999. The vineyard was mature enough to produce another Reserve in 2005. Patience and careful farming have produced one of our finest Reserves to date.
